Position Overview

Lexicon Consulting, Inc. is seeking experienced and dependable Supply Technicians to support the U.S. Army Training Support Center at Fort Irwin, California. This position supports the receipt, issue, inventory, accountability, storage, and shipment of Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS), Tactical Engagement Simulation System (TESS) equipment, and other training support property in accordance with applicable Army regulations, contract requirements, local standard operating procedures, and established property accountability practices.

The ideal candidate will have experience in military or commercial supply operations, warehouse procedures, logistics support, and property control, with the ability to work effectively in both warehouse and field environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, issue, loan, and process turn-in of TESS equipment, TADSS, Graphic Training Aids (GTAs), and other Government property using approved automated systems and manual records.
  • Maintain accurate hand receipts, loan documents, due-back records, storage location data, and accountability documentation.
  • Reconcile discrepancies and assist with required reports related to availability, usage, shortages, loss or damage, excess property, and hazardous items.
  • Conduct cyclic, annual, and 100% inventories, including sensitive and hazardous items, in accordance with contract requirements and the Property Management Plan.
  • Support joint inventories during contract transitions, annual inventory cycles, and final turn-in procedures.
  • Identify damaged, missing, or unserviceable items and prepare required documentation for accountability and follow-up action.
  • Load, unload, move, and stage equipment, containers, and support materials in warehouse and training environments.
  • Operate material-handling equipment when qualified and authorized.
  • Comply with all safety, environmental, physical security, key control, AT/OPSEC, information assurance, and site-specific operational requirements.
  • Wear required uniforms and personal protective equipment in accordance with company policy, site requirements, and applicable union guidelines.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply, warehouse, logistics, property accountability, or related support operations.
  • Working knowledge of military or commercial supply procedures, inventory control, and accountability documentation.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in warehouse, storage yard, and field support environments.
  • Must be eligible for installation access and able to complete all required background checks, onboarding requirements, and mandatory training.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting a Training Support Center, TADSS warehouse, TESS operation, or similar Army training support activity.
  • Familiarity with Army supply documentation, hand receipts, shortage annexes, and property accountability procedures.
  • Experience with Army property systems or site-specific inventory management tools.
  • Previous union environment experience is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is performed onsite at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California and may require work in warehouse facilities, storage areas, and outdoor training environments. Candidates must be comfortable working in operational settings that support military training missions.
