Position Overview
The Photographer provides still and video imagery of training events, ceremonies, and official activities at the National Training Center. This imagery supports training analysis, public information, and historical documentation.[2]

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture high‑quality still and video imagery in studio and field environments, including DA photos, passports, ceremonies, and live‑fire training.[2]
  • Set up and operate cameras, lenses, lights, backdrops, audio, and related equipment; ensure safe cable routing and compliance with safety requirements.[2]
  • Edit, process, and deliver imagery in required formats and resolutions, meeting PWS timelines for finished products and record documentation.[2]
  • Maintain imagery archives, captions, and identifying data in accordance with Army visual information policies and local SOPs.[2]
  • Support short‑notice and after‑hours photography requirements as scheduled, while maintaining proper rest and safety standards.[2]
  • Comply with non‑disclosure, social media, OPSEC, and IA restrictions on imagery produced under the contract.[3][2]

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of professional photography or videography experience.
  • Proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, studio lighting, and editing software.
  • Ability to work outdoors in austere training environments, sometimes during extended hours.[2]

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly wage at Teamsters Local 166 Photographer rate plus fringe and Lexicon benefits.[5][3]
